Debut album from this promising Italian folk band. Acoustic hypnosis and electric explosions, minimalism and noise, the atmospheres are compatible to Will Oldham or Califone, but also Slint and The For Carnation. Seven tracks of wide space, faint lights, smoke and naked hearts. This album has been recorded in a barn, with poor technology, among horse smell, dust, spidernets and all sorts of insects everywhere. It feels sick and free, obsessive and spacey at the same time - the true spirit of post-country music to come.
